Marluxia, the Graceful Assassin, is the N. XI within the original Organization XIII and Nobody of Lauriam. He is an antagonist in the Kingdom Hearts game series, being the Lord of Castle Oblivion and the main antagonist of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. He is heavily implied to be the love interest of Larxene, the N. XII within the original Organization and Nobody of Elrena.

In Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, as their former human selves, Lauriam meets Elrena when he is seeking clues on the whereabouts of his missing sister, Strelitzia. Elrena and Strelizia had been previously friends so Lauriam asks her to inform him anything that might help him figure out the reason of her disappearance. They continue to meet, trying to solve the mystery together. Elrena is very determined to help him and is very sadden to see Lauriam frustrated for not finding Strelitzia. Her Chirithy comments on how she is acting weird and states that is not normal for her to care and to go out of her way to help someone.
Elrena and Lauriam would be reborn as Nobodies, Larxene and Marluxia respectively, and become members of the Organization XIII. As a member of the Organization, Larxene showcases a very arrogant, sadistic and sassy personality. She treats the other members as inferiors and has no regards even before their leader, Xemnas. However, she curiously doesn't exhibit the same level of offence when she is refering or talking to Marluxia.
In one of the Kingdom Hearts light novels, Marluxia and Larxene meet after they both have been recently recruited, and rapidity connect to each other. They discuss on how the Organization Castle is boring and how they don't like Xemnas's goal of retrieving the hearts that the Nobodies lost. Larxene states that having a heart is painful and they both agree that it would be better off not regain them back.

Larxene and Marluxia apparently don't have all the memories of their previous lives, but they still found each other and started to conspire to overthrow the Organization from their leader. As partners in crime, they attempt to execute their plans to dominate the Organization during their mission in Castle Oblivion in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories game. However, their plans are ruined by Axel and Sora.
Even after this betrayal, they are both chosen by Xehanort when he forms the real Organization XIII during the events of Kingdom Hearts III. Larxene and Marluxia reunite again in the Keyblade Graveyard, and when she greets him, he smiles to her in return. She asks him why would they be chosen after their treason, and Marluxia replies that Xehanort doesn't care because he just wants empty husks to fill with his own heart. Larxene seems bothered by this and playfully suggests Marluxia that they should attempt another coup.
Later, after battling Sora in the Keyblade Graveyard, the Nobodies are defeated allowing them to be recompleted and to be reborn as their former human selves again. As their Nobodies are vanishing, they start to regain the memories of their human lives. Marluxia smiles as he remembers what is really important to him and his true purpose of being that he had forgotten.
Larxene is absolutely humiliated to be defeated by Sora again but then she confesses that it would have been worse to live as a vessel for Xehanort's heart. Sora gets confused by this and asks the real reason of her helping Xehanort. Larxene replies that she was just “along for the ride”. When Sora asks who she was along with, she smiles and replies that is her secret.
This heavily implies that Larxene’s actions during Kingdom Hearts III and possibly during the other games were all in order to support Marluxia. Even if she did not have her full memory of her previous self, she stayed by his side to aid him in his goals. As selflessness is not a trait of Larxene/Elrena’s personality, she probably has romantic feelings for him.

- Marluxia was supposed to be a female but the creators of the game decided to change his gender because they didn't want both Organization traitors to be women.
- Even not having the full memory of his previous self, Marluxia unconsciously named his scythe after his sister.
- In Kingdom Hearts III, during the Boss fight at the Keyblade Graveyard, Marluxia and Larxene are able to use their Limit Break moves simultaneously if Luxord has already been defeated.
