Fern (Power Rangers Cosmic Fury)

Fern is the former rival and current girlfriend of Izzy Garcia who becomes the Cosmic Fury Orange Ranger.

History[]

Dino Fury[]

Solon was abducted by Scuttleworms while attempting to repair the cruiser on Erridus; and while the other Rangers were busy fighting Ollie, Jozotic, and some giant Copyguards, Fern, who had stayed on the ship to track Billy and Solon, grabs the only weapon she could find, the sixth Cosmic Morpher, and sets out to rescue the Rangers' mentor. She finds Solon trapped in a nest of hatchlings and blasts the babies with the Morpher when they hatch and attack. After freeing Solon, two adult Scuttleworms arrive and attack them. After Solon jumps in the way of an attack meant for Fern, damaging her cybernetics, Fern goes to her aid. Upon touching Solon, the Cosmic Morpher reacts and fuses Solon's biological DNA with the Morpher and connecting Fern to the Morphin Grid. When Fern stands up to protect Solon, she is instantly transformed into the Orange Cosmic Fury Ranger.

From Rival to Friend[]

Fern was first introduced as a rival of Izzy during a marathon race. During the race, when she catches up to Izzy, Fern tripped on a root and fell into a pit. Fern’s ankle is injured, and Izzy decides to go down and help Fern even though she will lose her lead. As Fern gets a ride back by officials, Izzy begins to rejoin the race, although she left to go after Boomtower. Since Izzy was willing to sacrifice her chance of winning to help her, the two ended their rivalry and eventually became friends.

In a Relationship[]

Fern eventually fell in love with Izzy, who reciprocated her love as the two began dating and became a couple.
