Deceased[]

With the way timelines get twisted in this show, and how dead characters keep coming back, I'm beginning to think the designation "Deceased" doesn't have much value. --Doc 20:49, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

Inconsistent perspective on Character statuses.[]

I think our perspective on this list is inconsistent, and needs to be corrected in some fashion. The inconsistency lies in the way the characters are listed here. Our main characters (like Sawyer), whom are now members of DHARMA, we have labeled as "Alive in 1977," implying that the page is about the status of these characters from the perspective of 1977. Characters that we have met before such as Horace and new characters such as Amy are also "Alive in 1977," yet we have them marked, respectively, as "Deceased" and "Unknown," indicating a 2008 perspective. Which should we be presenting on this list; a present of 1977, 2008, or both? Should we indicate a character's 1977 status when their status is otherwise in 2008? Perhaps add a category of "alive in 1977, but dead by 2008"? Kind of clumsy, but it could work, at least until we're out of Dharma times on the show. -Rawr? 04:17, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Daniel Faraday's Status[]

Since Daniel Faraday is no longer a member of the Initiative, he should be marked as "Defected" or "Unknown."

• Sawyer's comment in Namaste is wide open for interpretation. All he said was that he's "not [here] anymore". It's possible that Faraday is working at the Orchid, left the island to work at the Lamp Post, or went crazy and is in the Dharma mental institution. No real reason to believe that he's defected from Dharma.

New DHARMA member[]

He appeared in "He's Our You". I couldn't read the name but appears as "Clire" to me. Not sure if this is a given male name. Job title isn't clear as well. Anyone with HDTV can check this one? — Iimitk  T  C  19:55, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Another New DHARMA Member?[]

• In Some Like it Hoth, a Dharma member is seen at The Orchid whose jumpsuit appears to say "Derek" on it. According to the logo and job title, he works in security. The 57th screencap in the section labeled "HQ Screencaps Galore" on this page "some-like-it-hoth"-screencaps-easter-eggs-audio-analysis/ shows this man. Eric, Tony and the Changs[]

How come Eric, Tony and Dr. Chang and his wife are listed as unknown? Shouldn't they be alive?--Mistertrouble189 21:23, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

• I think it was because we didn't know what time period we were in for that first scene in "Because You Left", but now, I don't know. Personally, anyone that we haven't seen in the present day (2004-2008) should be unknown. Anyone we know has died since 1977 should be put under deceased. (i.e. Horace, Lara, Radzinsky, Charlotte, Ethan, etc) Then in the notes section we can put the death year. (i.e. Horace died in 1992, Lara died in the late 1990s, Radzinsky died between 1991 (the earliest Kelvin would have arrived) and 2001 (when Desmond arrived), Charlotte died during a time shift, Ethan died in 2004.) --Crash815 Talk 02:04, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

I think that we should have two columns for all these lists, one for the seventies and another for "present" (2007/2008). Something like this:

	Phil	Security Officer	Deceased	None	DHARMA Initiative Security. Killed during the Incident in 1977.

And the colors... Well, I am using for this proposal only "1977 colors", because we don't know if Juliet has changed everything... Everyone alive in the sub or the island at the moment of the incident should be considered as unknwon status (because we don't know the size of the explosion). And with dead people... Those who have died before the incident (Alvares, Daniel, Phil, etc), deceased, and those who have died later (Charlotte, Roger, the purge people, etc), unknown too, because we don't know if history has changed...

DHARMA members at the shootout[]

During the 1977 Barracks battle Jack shoots several DHARMA members. During this scene, the names of some of the the victims can clearly be seen on their jumpsuits, but wherever I look, I can't find any good screencaps that would allow us to read the names/ job titles. I noticed a "Gregory" who worked in security, but besides him, I can't read anyone else's jumpsuit. I'll enter a screencap request on DarkUFO's site.--Linus2342 20:54, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
