1950 marks the release of several milestone cartoons that would later be vindicated in history past the Golden Age. One of the very few ensemble cartoons was released, being "The Scarlet Pumpernickel". Meanwhile, Bugs Bunny celebrates his 10th birthday with the release of two noteworthy musical cartoons, "What's Up Doc?" and "Rabbit of Seville".
Thirty-one cartoons were released this year.
