The Strange Cobra is the cobra who is a friend of the Strange Lion and was responsible for Scar obtaining his namesake injury.
Appearance[]
Strange Cobra is a black-necked spitting cobra. His body is violet purple and his markings are a dark violet purple color.
Personality[]
He is a crafty and sneaky villain, working for the Strange Lion. He is not above tormenting others, by giving them injuries to remind them of their mistake. His sadism, however, leads to his destruction at the claws of a vengeful Scar.
History[]
Prior to The Lion Guard[]
Sometime during Scar's adolescence, a Strange Lion approached Scar, putting visions of grandiose into his head with the claim that the most powerful should be king. After leading Scar to the Outlands, hiding his friend, a strange cobra from him. Then he watched as Scar was attacked, ending with a scar over his left eye.
He along with the Strange Lion were then destroyed by Scar who used the Roar of the Elders on them.

- The Strange Cobra was seen early, on July 30th, 2019 in a video on Disney Junior's Youtube channel.
- Strange Cobra is the second known cobra in the franchise.
- Despite his importance in Scar's descent into villainy, the Strange Cobra's name is never revealed (as perhaps Scar didn't know his name). Considering that Scar was destroyed for good in the same episode he reveals how he got his namesake and since the show is over, it's likely that we will never learn the Strange Cobra's name.
