Nyani Grove (also known as The Baboons' Forest) is a location in the Pride Lands. It is home to Big Baboon's Troop.
Appearance[]
Nyani Grove is a relatively flat area, composed of tall trees with many branches. A few large boulders also jut out from the ground.
History[]
The Rise of Makuu[]
After Makuu wins the Mashindano, he forces the hippos out of Big Springs the very next day. As a result, animals become shifted around and start to take up residence in other parts of the Pride Lands, including the giraffes, who move into Nyani Grove and push the baboons out.
Kiara rushes to find the Lion Guard in the lair, explaining that Zazu has heard about the giraffes moving into the baboon's forest. Since Simba and Nala are out hunting, she turns to them for their help.
Later, the baboons move into Pride Rock. Kion is then prompted to sort out the problem once and for all, and confronts Makuu and forces him to leave Big Springs. After he does so, the baboons move back into the forest.
Baboons![]
When Fuli rescues a Baby Baboon from drowning (having just rescued him from Mzingo's Committee), Kion tasks her with getting the baby home safely. He instructs her to visit Big Baboon's Tree in Nyani Grove, where the baboons live.

Big Baboon explains
With their message sent, Big Baboon questions whose turn it is to pick up the throwing fruit, and the rest of his troop point towards each other. Big Baboon irritably utters 'baboons'.
Ono the Tickbird[]
Whilst separated from Mwenzi, Kifaru unintentionally causes damage to Nyani Grove.
Beshte and the Beast[]When the Army of Scar is in the Pride Lands Kion suggets making a short cut through Nyani Grove. Shujaa starts knocking down trees to make a path for them. The baboons start flying out of there trees Fuli and Beshte go to stop them.
