  I really hated this movie! The only good thing this movie has going for it is the visuals. “I can’t wait to be king” was a fun music number by my gosh did the rest of the movie suck. They spent their whole budget on CGI. They Black Panthered the shit out of this film. Let’s cast a mostly black voice cast and sing lifeless musical numbers and dialogue with no emotion for a paycheck. The dialogue was cringe worthy.…

  It finally took me 3 watches to realize how much of an impact Elton’s music has had on my life growing up. Taron edgerton is fantastic as Elton John and Jamie bell is equally as good as Bernie tuppen. I commend Rocketman for taking a musical approach to tell you the story of Elton’s life.
