"Robo Kid" is the second segment of the 8th episode in Season 2 of Let's Go Luna!.

Synopsis[]

Andy heads into the hi-tech city in Tokyo in hopes of obtaining super-robot powers.

This and its sister episode premiered on TVOKids on August 21st, 2021. It aired in the USA on November 15th, 2021.

Trivia[]

  • A 60-foot robot statue is shown in the episode as well as a reference to the real-life Gundam statue, derived from the popular mecha anime franchise.
  • The song featured in the episode sounds like "Harder Better Faster Stronger" by Daft Punk, which was made for an anime movie -- Interstella 5555 and would later be used in the 2025 Universal Pictures and Dreamworks Animation movie - - "Dog Man" - - based on the Dog Man graphic novel series by Dav Pilkey.
  • Andy saying "How do you get around this thing?!?" is a reference to The Jetsons, where George says "Jane! Stop this crazy thing!". The Jetsons is also about a futuristic society filled with robots.
