Lieutenant Brainy[1] is a City Space minifigure introduced in 2019.
Description[]
Lieutenant Brainy wears a bright orange spacesuit with dark stone grey gloves and white hip, marked with the logo of the City Space theme on her chest. She is usually equipped with white Mini Oxygen Bottles and a white Mini Helmet, No. 245 with a transparent light blue Space Visor, although she does not wear these when depicted with her cool yellow Mini Wig No. 4 hair. Her face is printed with freckles, lips, and eyelashes, and she has a winking alternate expression.
In LEGO City Spaced out, Lieutenant Brainy is also depicted wearing a bright blue crewmember's uniform while aboard the Lunar Space Station, or a white spacesuit while atop the Mars Research Shuttle. Unlike her appearance in 60230, her hair is a black Mini Wig No. 5.
Background[]
In LEGO City Spaced out, Lieutenant Brainy is the lieutenant of the Mars One research team. She has a friendly competition with Sergeant Flaky as they retrieve geodes on Mars using drones and rovers. After the eruption of Olympus Mons destroys the Lunar Space Station, they return to Earth in the Mars Research Shuttle and crash-land in downtown LEGO City, where their shuttle comes to a stop at the Donut Shop.
In Create the World, Lieutenant Brainy is identified as Astronaut With Alien Disguise on card #95, holding the alien head on a stick from 60230 People Pack - Space Research and Development. She uses it to prank people by pretending to be an alien invader.
