Description[]
Jack's Sand Blue legs are printed to resemble jeans with knee-pads, pockets, and belt printing on the hip. He has a printed plaid dark green shirt and a leather jacket. He has one dark green arm with a bright yellow hand, and one mechanical arm using same the pieces as Dr. Inferno and the Alien Cyborg. His bright yellow face is printed with dark orange eyebrows, mustache and beard, and has a growling expression. He wears a flat dark stone grey hat, and carries a large hammer.

Jack McHammer is a lumberjack believed to come from either Scotland or Canada, and is now one of the Monster Fighters. He is still furious years after losing his right arm in a fight against a monster,[1] with the Crazy Scientist being responsible.[source?] Since then, his missing arm has been replaced with a steam-powered artificial arm. His arch enemy is the Crazy Scientist's Monster.

- Although Jack McHammer's arch enemy is stated to be the Crazy Scientist's Monster, Jack does not appear in 9466 The Crazy Scientist and His Monster; therefore, unlike the other heroes, he does not actually face his monster arch enemy. This appears to be a remnant of 9466's preliminary box art, which included Jack McHammer instead of Major Quinton Steele.[2] Potentially, this is why Watch Out, Monsters About! changes Dr. Rodney Rathbone's narration from referencing the Crazy Scientist's Monster to mentioning the Zombie Horde, since Jack does appear in 9465 The Zombies.
