Grip, named Phil Maker,[1] is a LEGO Minifigure in the Studios theme first introduced in 2000.
Description[]
Grip has three variations. His first variation has a blue baseball cap, yellow head with headphone printing, white torso with printed glasses, pocket, ID card, screwdriver and belt on the front and a katinco board with his name on the back, yellow arms, dark grey hands and blue legs. His second variation has the same torso and head, but with a red baseball cap, yellow hands and light grey legs. His third variation has a blue baseball cap, yellow head with printed glasses and headphone, white torso with an ID card on a necklace, belt, cassette tape and bat printings, white arms, dark grey hands and blue legs.

The Grip appears in most scenes with the Cameraman as they are major film requirements.

- Although the Grip is named Phil Maker (a pun on "film maker") in Island Xtreme Stunts, that name was previously attributed to the Cameraman in the 1349 LEGO & Steven Spielberg MovieMaker Set Director's Handbook.
- He was initially known as Phil Film during the development of Island Xtreme Stunts.[2]
