Anthony "Tony" Stark is a widely-known superhero and a founding member of the Avengers. A brilliant inventor, he designed the revolutionary Iron Man Armor, a high-tech exosuit powered by the Arc Reactor in his chest. He was a well-known and successful CEO of Stark Industries before his involvement with superheroes. After Captain America's "death" he activated the Avengers Protocol, which also involved his number one fan, Sam Wilson, join the team under the alias "Falcon" as a rookie Avenger.
