Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow.

As seen in "The Elemental Mechs", beginning in "What the Mech?", Kai's Elemental Earth Mech was created by Sora using chronosteel and a variety of other components. Sora created the mech, along with two others, after Lobbo was turned into a rampaging monster by some new merchandise in Kreel's junkyard. Working together, the trio of Ninja managed to subdue Lobbo, and Sora was able to return him to his normal state. In "The Mech Master", Kai employs his mech again when the Mechanic hijacks several mechs taking part in the Mech Master 5000. Though initially struggling against the remote-controlled mechs, Kai and Cole are able to overcome them after discovering that their mechs can swap limbs, allowing them to make use of one another's Elemental Powers. Kai also lends his mech's legs to Sora to assist in her pursuit of the Mechanic.

In "A Pain in the Mech!", Kai uses his mech in a battle between a pair of Ice Dragon Creatures and a group of Lava-Tides.
