Michael Walters is the boyfriend and accomplice of Jenny Mays in the kidnapping of her son Alex to get him back from his foster family. Walters shook down the social worker who removed him, Lawrence Bello, a racist wanting to place Alex with a white family for info. In the fight, Michael stabbed Walters to death.
He was tracked and agreed to a manslaughter plea in exchange for retrieving Alex and testifying against Jenny. Jenny was acquitted, but she pleaded to lesser charges later. (L&O: “Custody”)
