Arlo Beck is a man who ran Accredo, a women's empowerment group, in order to manipulate and attack victims of rape and violence.
When a member of Accredo is raped and murdered, the Special Victims Unit is told by Beck that the victim was suffering from her husband's verbal abuse. However, they soon discover that Beck is an intelligent con artist and sociopath who may have played a part in the murder. Eventually, it is discovered that Beck manipulated a woman named Lilah Finch to murder the victim. Beck almost flees the country but is caught by the SVU and convicted. (SVU: "Accredo")
