Paeninsula Capitis Eboraci[1] (Anglice Cape York Peninsula) est magna et ultima Terrae Reginae septentrionalis paeninsula in Australia ac maxima deserta inculta in Australia septentrionali sita.[2] Terra plerumque est plana, et circa dimidium regionis ad pecora pascenda adhibetur. Savannae, silvae pluviales tropicae, et alia habitationis genera eucalyptis praedita, quae plerumque imperturbata manent, nunc magni aestimantur, et ob eorum circumiectorum momentum conservantur, sed species animalium plantarumque inutilium introductarum flora et fauna endemica minantur.[3] Anno 1606, Gulielmus Janszoon, nauta Nederlandicus in Duyfken navigans, ad litora Australiana pervenit, primus continentis explorator Europaeus notus, qui paeninsulam invenit.
