Notes[]
- This episode aired on NET alongside episode 38 of Kikaider 01, The Mortal Device: The Bloody Battle of the Three Commas!.
- Mirroring the Double Riders' departure in episode 2, it features Riderman seemingly sacrificing himself to stop a bomb from destroying Tokyo, leaving V3 to take down Destron by himself in the following episode. Later in the year, however, Riderman would return along with V3 and the Double Riders to fight with Kamen Rider X in the film Five Riders vs. Kingdark. Acknowledged by V3 as 'Kamen Rider #4', Riderman would go on to appear with his contemporaries in various subsequent crossovers to this day. A view of what happened to Riderman following his apparent fate here would be seen in the alternate continuity manga Kamen Rider Spirits.
- Footage from this episode, showing V3 naming Riderman as "Kamen Rider 4" following his sacrifice, is featured as part of Tobee Tachibana's retrospective in episode 27 of Kamen Rider X.
