This article is about a character in Kamen Rider Gaim and Kamen Rider Wizard. |
Ieyasu (イエヤス ) is the lord of the Wizard Army (ウィザード軍, Wizādo Gun) who lost his Bujin, Kamen Rider Bujin Wizard, to Kamen Rider Bujin Gaim. He first mistook Kamen Rider Gaim/Kouta as his Bujin's killer. When he realized that Kouta was not the same Gaim that he encountered, Ieyasu then hires him and Mitsuzane to become his new Bujin and later gives Haruto the Infinity Wizard Ring that was originally Kamen Rider Bujin Wizard's. Personality[]
While quirky and self-confident, he is a dedicated and emotional person who wants to unify the country. He also helps cull the confusion between Kouta and Haruto with Bujin Wizard and Gaim.
Behind the Scenes[]
Portrayal[]
- Ieyasu is portrayed by JOY.
Basis[]
- Tokugawa Ieyasu (徳川 家康 January 31, 1543 – June 1, 1616) was the founder and first shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate of Japan, which ruled from the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600 until the Meiji Restoration in 1868. Ieyasu seized power in 1600, received appointment as shogun in 1603, abdicated from office in 1605, but remained in power until his death in 1616.
Notes[]
- Ieyasu is the only shown Warlord to not be portrayed by a cast member of the Bujin Rider's original counterpart's respective series. However, as many of the Warlords are based off of secondary Riders, with the exception of the Fourze Army Warlord, Ieyasu's hair color and fashion style is similar to Kosuke Nito's.
