Chapter 1: The Drifting School (漂流学園, Hyōryū Gakuen) is the first episode of Rider Time: Kamen Rider Zi-O VS Decade.

Plot[]

At two separate locations, people are being attacked and cornered by hordes of Elementary Inves. They are rescued by two men, one is wearing a cap while the other is dressed in a suit, who transform into two Kamen Rider Zi-O and destroy the monsters. They both introduce themselves as Sougo Tokiwa, but from Hanazono Academy and Misawa High School, respectively.

At Hikarigamori High School, a third Sougo Tokiwa is watched by his secret admirer Heure. Heure and Ora, who has a crush on Geiz Myokoin, together approach the boys and give them their respective love letters. Geiz immediately tears Ora's letter apart, while Sougo is faltered by Heure's letter, but Geiz drags him away, commenting that the underclassman is a boy. Meanwhile, some students try to sneak out through a blocked gate, but they are detected and attacked by the wandering Inves outside. From the upper floor, other students watch the scene in horror and Sougo takes out his Ridewatch, intending to save them, but Geiz tells him that it is too late. The students outside are brutally slaughtered and dismembered by the monsters. Swartz, the school's principal, comments that they were foolish for trying to break out. Sougo is saddened and reminisces how everyone in the school has been trapped there for a month as the outside world is ravaged by these creatures and has turned into a wasteland.

Swartz tells the students that they need to stick to their school life to forget the hopeless world outside. Heure takes Sougo's arm and comments that he is fine with this situation, as long as he gets to stay with Sougo. This makes Swartz realize that romance may help them escape reality, so he decides to start a Love Club, as Ora volunteers to help him.

At night, as everyone uses their dinner, Sougo and Geiz discuss their situation. Sougo suggests that they should hold a festival to raise everyone's morale. Geiz notices that their food ration is getting shorter and shorter every night. Meanwhile, Swartz is reported that some students are causing trouble. When he arrives at the scene, three guys are holding a girl hostage, demanding for more food. The principal easily disarms two of them, but the third one becomes panicked, so he jumps off the window and gets killed by an Inves.

On the next day, Tsukuyomi is seen wandering in the forest and surrounded by the Inves. Confused at the state of the world, she transforms and fights the monsters, while calling out for Sougo and Geiz. At another building, the Hanazono Academy's Sougo is taking his leave with his girlfriend Misa Kuon, even though his comrades advise against it. The couple rides on a bike and slays some Inves on their way.

Back to Hikarigamori school, Swartz hosts the Love Club and teaches the students how to steal a girl's heart. However, Ora comes in and rejects his teaching, telling them that they need to be more proactive. Meantime, Sougo holds a festival but only one student comes. Outside, the Hanazono Academy's Sougo arrives and confronts the wandering Inves. Empowered by an air kiss from his girlfriend, he transforms into Kamen Rider Zi-O. Hearing the disturbance outside, the Hikarigamori High's Sougo also comes and transforms into Zi-O. Geiz arrives but he and Misa are confused by the presence of two Zi-O. After all the Inves are destroyed, the two Zi-O de-transform as the Misawa High's Sougo also appears at the scene. The three Sougo look at each other and become awed of the situation. Somewhere else, Tsukasa Kadoya is seen driving a car.
