He was one of the main scientists behind Group 935 who experimented on the Aether until Richtofen decided to betray his colleague Maxis to take over the Aether and the world.
He was voiced by Nolan North, who also voiced Martin Walker in Spec Ops: The Line, and Redmond and Blutarch Mann in Team Fortress 2.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- Joined Group 935 and took part on the experiments on the Element 115, which was very dangerous and lead to a zombie outbreak.
- Betrayed Maxis by locking him up alongside his daughter Samantha and his dog into a teleporter, just so that he could have the Element 115 for himself.
- After finding out Samantha took control of the zombies due to her exposure to the Element 115, he manipulated the brainwashed Tank, Nikolai, and Takeo into helping him get it back, all that while pretending to be just another survivor like them.
- Once he managed to switch souls with Samantha and take control of the zombies, he betrayed his own crew and decided to use his zombie army to destroy humanity, which turned out to be a success since Maxis sent missiles into the Earth to sever Richtofen's connection to the zombies, which means that he succeeded at committing genocide.
- In Black Ops II, he becomes the demonic announcer and tries to kill the Victis crew.
- If in Buried he manages to win during his battle against Maxis, he will banish Maxis and Samantha forever and take control of Stühlinger's body as a human host.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He has moral agency issues since he was corrupted by the Dark Aether into comitting genocide.
- After his Primis counterpart reasoned with him, he decided to redeem himself to help the crew stop the zombies and Dr. Monty and finally shut down the multiverse.
- Despite manipulating them, he still cared about his crew, and eventually befriended them after redeeming himself.
