Bigs is one of the leaders of the Toxic Mutants, a race that was created from toxic sludge that humans allowed to fester. When the Warstar aliens invades the planet, Creepox's death caused Admiral Malkor to recruit them. Vrak manages to recruit them as they use their alliance to turn the Earth into a toxic paradise for themselves where they flourish while humanity suffers in retribution for indirectly creating them. He, along with Bluefur, is one of the main antagonists of the Toxic Mutants arc in Power Rangers Megaforce.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- He and Bluefur sought to turn the Earth into a paradise for their kind at the expense of humanity in retribution for human’s lack of care for the toxic chemicals, which led to their creation.
- Accepted Vrak’s offer for an alliance with the mutants, revealing themselves alongside Hisser to conquer the world.
- With his slime ability, they manage to make the rangers covered in slime, nearly killing them before the untimely arrival of Robo Knight.
- He recruits Shadow Serpent to steal shadows from humans, leaving them paralyzed and unable to move.
- He endorsed Nojoke's plan to suck up all the humans when they laugh in his jar and eventually melt them into juice to drink.
- He decides to use the Aurora Box that Vrak gave them, wanting to use it to increase his power before deciding to test it out on Dream Snatcher first.
- Powering Dream Snatcher up with the box, he had the monster eat the dreams of humans while they're awake (he originally could only eat the dreams of those who sleep prior to the power boost). Worse still, said humans would not only sleep forever, but also grow roots of despair (due to their consciousness are trapped in the dream world, which is a Fate Worse Than Death) which would eventually rot away the planet.
- He spews his toxic sludge all around Hardwood County, intending for it to seep into the planet below. Humans are shown reacting with repulsiveness to the smell.
- He and Blufur overpower the rangers with their power boost from the box, even trying to kill them with the Aurora Blast before Robo Knight stepped in. When Robo Knight tries to blast the slime, it only spreads it further. Freezing the slime only slows it down temporarily.
- Saved by the Aurora Box, Bigs reveals his true final plan is to cover the Earth in goo until it becomes a giant version of himself where only Toxic Mutants can survive, which would basically make the planet more than just a toxic wasteland but an endless pool of slime, which would have drowned billions of humans.
- What makes this not Fridge Horror is that Bigs gleefully admits that drowning them is his desired outcome.
- He tortured the rangers in an attempt to drain their powers, including their Ultra Mode when they enter the giant Aurora Box.
- While the rangers destroy Bigs, he does trap the rangers inside the box, thus nearly getting a posthumous victory before the Gosei Ultimate Command Ship arrives.
- While he seems to be loyal to Vrak after the mutants form an alliance with him, and to an extent Warstar and never betrays him, some of their goals conflict with the aliens, and it is more likely to be more out of pragmatism and convenience.
- He easily stands out amongst Power Rangers’s high heinous standards for several reasons:
- Unlike the other main villains in Megaforce which are aliens or robots built by aliens, he and Bluefur are completely limited to Earth, making them stand out more.
- He is more often than not planning things on his own accord rather than Vrak’s orders, as Vrak mostly acted in a supportive advising role.
- His plan to turn the Earth into a polluted toxic environment for his kind to thrive in is a crime rare to the franchise shared only with Master Org (both versions), and even then, Bigs had lower resources and his worst acts are unique.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He cares for his kind and wants to make the planet livable for them.
- He has a genuine friendship with Bluefur and the two are mostly shown working together as equal leaders.
- He is very comedic (acting goofier than Bluefur) and has some genuinely funny lines and moments.
- He is somewhat sympathetic due to his kind’s origins (they were created because a pollution-producing factory was shut down without ever cleaning up the chemicals for years, causing them to be born from it and they genuinely view their actions as a twisted sense of poetic, karmic justice) and how they are being manipulated by Vrak as pawns in his plans to take over the Earth.
