Serie A TIM musim kompetisi 2002–03 adalah musim ke 101 kasta teratas liga sepak bola Italia. Diikuti oleh 18 klub untuk kali ke-15 sejak musim 1988-89.
Dua tim teratas otomatis berhak mengikuti babak utama di Liga Champions UEFA, sedangkan tim di posisi ketiga dan keempat harus melalui babak kualifikasi dulu di ajang serupa. Tim posisi kelima dan keenam, ditambah dengan juara Coppa Italia berhak mengikuti kompetisi Piala UEFA
Juventus untuk kali ke-27 kembali meraih gelar scudetto pada musim ini. Dua tim kota Milan, Inter dan AC Milan masing-masing berada di posisi kedua dan ketiga. Lazio di posisi empat juga berhak mengikuti kualifikasi Liga Champions UEFA.
Di ajang Piala UEFA, Italia diwakili oleh Parma, Udinese, dan AS Roma. Sedangkan Perugia menggantikan Chievo tampil di Piala Intertoto.
Piacenza, Torino, Como dan Atalanta harus mengalami degradasi ke Serie B, dimana Atalanta harus mengakui keunggulan Reggina dalam partai play-off degradasi.
