Zvilpogghua (Earth-1610)

History

Zvilpogghua (the Feaster from the Stars) was a Great Old One, a member of an unholy pantheon born untold billions of years ago. Zvilpogghua was an alien intellect from a distant star who occasionally manifested himself on Earth. As a Great Old One, his true nature was inconceivable to the human psyche. His defiance alien nature and defiance of the laws of physics had the potential to drive humans insane.

He was the son of Tsathoggua and Shathak, and was the father of Sfatlicllp. Zvilpogghua was conceived on the planet Yaksh (Neptune). Zvilpogghua was known to the American Indians as Ossadagowah. He usually took the form of an armless, winged, bipedal toad with a long, rubbery neck and a face completely covered in tentacles. He previously dwelled on Yrautrom, a planet that orbited the star Algol.

Zvilpogghua manifested himself when the Fantastic Four travelled into the N-Zone. Johnny Storm was infected with Zvilpogghua, who initially appeared as a parasite growing in his stomach. After failing to remove the parasite, Reed Richards was forced to turn to Doctor Doom for assistance. Using ancient magical texts recovered from Atlantis, Doom was able to remove Zvilpogghua from Johnny's body and then carried Zvilpogghua into the Zombie Dimension.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

Zvilpogghua demonstrated the ability to insert itself inside the body of a human being and consume them from within. It was hypothesized that upon reaching "adulthood" Zvilpogghua would be extremely powerful and would consume the entire world. Zvilpogghua can fly at extremely high speeds and will seek out whoever it believes to be the most powerful "host." Like all Great Old Ones, Zvilpogghua is functionally immortal and obeys laws of science unknown to modern man. Zvilpogghua no doubt possesses other powers that have not yet been revealed.
