The Light is an ominous council with seven members.

History

The Light was formed by Vandal Savage and his daughter, Ishtar, many centuries ago. Their main goal and purpose was to protect the earth from potential threats such as the Justice League, the Young Justice team and the Outsiders. They do this by allying themselves with the galaxy's most powerful individuals, creating certain events and hiring people to find out intel.

When communicating with their agents or each other, they appear on separate screens obscured by bright white light. The Injustice League serves as the proxies of The Light, fooling both the Justice League and the Team.

Notes

L-5 was Ocean Master but an undisclosed event during the five-year time gap disgraced him from that position, which was later taken by Black Manta.

The Light is currently considered "broken" by the Justice League, with half their leadership either dead or captured.
