Synopsis for "It's Never too Late"
There is a gang war over Gotham City between mob bosses Arnold Stromwell and Rupert Thorne for the control of all criminal activities in the city. When Stromwell's son disappears they decide to discuss the matter in a restaurant. Thorne sets Stromwell a trap and a bomb explodes in the place. Batman managed to save Stromwell's life but in return Batman asked for info on the mob activities. When Stromwell refused Batman took him to a drug rehab center where Stromwell's son was hospitalized. Stromwell's drug business was the reason of his son being in that state. He decided to give Batman the info he requested.
In his hideout, Stromwell double-crossed Batman and pointed a gun at him when tear gas was thrown at them. Thorne knew the restaurant bomb didn't killed Stromwell and was there to finish the job. Batman equiped with a rebreather beat some of Thorne's thugs. Stromwell ran away from the place but he came across his brother, Father Michael Stromwell. They were standing over the train rails; just as they were when they were kids and Michael saved Arnold from a certain death but it cost him his right leg. Arnold remembered the event and decided to do the right thing. Thorne appeared with a gun and was about to kill the Stromwells when Batman came from the air and knocked Thorne to the ground. The police arrived to the scene and Arnold Stromwell told Commissioner Gordon that he wanted to make a statement as Batman turned his sight to a nearby church.
