Sayaka Maizono titled as the Ultimate Pop Sensation is a supporting character in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and it's anime adaptation. She starts off as Makoto's loyal assistant until she sees her motive video that Monokuma provides to everyone and resorts to planning out a murder.
She was voiced by Makiko Ōmoto in the Japanese version of both the game and anime, by Dorothy Elias-Fahn in the English version of the game, and by Monica Rial in the English version of the anime.

Debated Validations[]
- Used her last bit of strength to write Leon's name on the wall after being stabbed by him. However, whether this was motivated by personal vengeance or wanting to posthumously help Makoto catch her killer is left open to interpretation.
Her Heroic Deeds[]
- Befriended and supported Makoto Naegi at the beginning and was good friends with him prior to the tragedy.
Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]
- She fails the admirable standards to Makoto who has similar resources but does vastly more heroic acts than Sayaka.
- Falls for Monokuma's motive that he presents to her and resorts to attempted murder on Leon Kuwata for reasons not entirely known.

- Sayaka's English voice actor, Dorothy Elias-Fahn, voices the Pure Good Chihiro Fujisaki in the same game and on the opposite end of the spectrum Tsumugi Shirogane from Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony.
