Elizabeth "Lizzie" Devine (temporarily Numbuh 49) is a supporting character of Codename: Kids Next Door. She is Nigel Uno's ex-girlfriend, who first appeared in "Operation: L.I.Z.Z.I.E." and would often try to get him to go on dates with her, but found herself competing with the Kids Next Door (which culminated in their breakup in "Operation: G.I.R.L.F.R.I.E.N.D.").

She is voiced by Grey DeLisle.

Her Good Ranking[]

Her Heroic Deeds[]

  • Although she tends to be somewhat possessive of Nigel and often yells at him, she genuinely cares about him.
  • She freed Nigel from the locker where he was tied up in "Operation: L.E.A.D.E.R.," and later apologized to him for taking over his leadership role (which she gave back to him).
  • Although she acted as one of the "decoys" hired by the DCFDTL to sabotage Sector V in "Operation: C.A.K.E.D.-T.W.O.," she regretted her actions and saved Sector V by dive-bombing into the Pound Cake Monster with part of the villains' ship. She apologized to Nigel afterwards.
  • She gave Nigel the aforementioned thermos to use against James Nixon McGarfield and stop his assembly in "Operation: S.N.O.W.I.N.G.," advising Nigel to "use the soup" (which led to the villain's defeat).
  • After she and Nigel were saved by the Little Traitor Dudes For Children's Defense (LTDFCD) in the Negaverse in "Operation: P.O.O.L.," she knocked Negative Numbuh 1 out when he tried to attack his positive counterpart.
  • Although the Senior Citizen Squad were the ones to land the final blows on Robin Food and his Hungry Men, Lizzie played a part in foiling the latter group in their scheme to steal the students' food from Gallagher Elementary School in "Operation: L.U.N.C.H." by beating them up with the L.O.C.K.A.H.S.O.C.K.A.H. to get her and Nigel's "perfect romantic lunch" back. She also felt bad for the villains when Robin Food told them their motives, until Lydia explained why she and her squad (whom Lizzie also felt bad for) didn't like the lazy cafeteria workers' "cooking" and the senior citizens stood up for their desire to eat "old person food" instead of "fatty kid stuff" (which causes various problems for their digestive systems and bridgeworks).
  • When she and Nigel broke up in "Operation: G.I.R.L.F.R.I.E.N.D.," she respected his commitment to the KND and decided the world needed him more than she did.

Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]

  • She fails the admirable standards to the main members of Sector V.
  • She is possessive of Nigel and tends to get jealous when she thinks he has another girlfriend, as seen in episodes such as "Operation: G.I.R.L.F.R.I.E.N.D." (where they ended up breaking up) and "Operation: H.O.L.I.D.A.Y." (where she was furious at Nigel for supposedly cheating on her with Numbuh 10 before she found out the latter was his maternal cousin).
  • She often yells at Nigel and others. For example:
    • She yelled "Shut up!" multiple times at the rest of Sector V (sans Nigel, who was infiltrating the boys' locker room) in "Operation: L.E.A.D.E.R." for disagreeing with her leadership style.
    • She yelled "Shut up!" at the DCFDTL in "Operation: D.A.T.E."
    • She furiously ordered Nigel to come with her to the school cafeteria and stay there until she got their lunch back from Robin Food and his Hungry Men in "Operation: L.U.N.C.H." (hence the episode's full name, "Operation: Lizzie Underappreciates Nigel's Chowtime Hardworkingness"), screamed at the kids at their table to leave, and ranted about how he was gaining a lot of weight in contrast to her flawless figure (despite him being thin and her being overweight) when she finally got their lunch (a stalk of celery) back.
    • She shouted through a megaphone at Nigel (who had spent sleepless days working in the treehouse) to wake up and go on a date with her in "Operation: Q.U.I.E.T." before she fell asleep with everyone else at the end.
    • She yelled at Nigel to go on a date with her like he promised and not send a robot to do so in "Operation: R.E.C.E.S.S."
    • She yelled at Nigel (who was the President of the United States) as the First Lady at missing a photo opportunity with her in "Operation: W.H.I.T.E.H.O.U.S.E." (which turned out to be a simulation).
  • She brainwashed Nigel in "Operation: L.I.Z.Z.I.E." with a Boyfriend Helmet and ordered him to attack the rest of Sector V when they arrived to rescue him.

Trivia[]

  • She warned Kuki and Wally of Numbuh Aleph Zero and the GKND's plans for Earth (which they were using Nigel for) and ordered them to evacuate everyone on the planet in the G:KND Experiment teaser trailer, though the canonicity of this is unknown because the sequel series has never seen the air so far. If the series ends up getting released, it’s likely this will affect her ranking.
