Kasumi Yoshizawa, codenamed Violet while in the metaverse, is the tritagonist and one of the party members in Persona 5 Royal. She is an athlete who is a first-year student at Shujin Academy.
It is later revealed that she is actually Sumire Yoshizawa, and Kasumi Yoshizawa is in reality her dead older twin sister who Sumire believed she was due to her cognition being changed by her therapist, Takuto Maruki, who changed Sumire's cognition because she was feeling an inferiority complex to her sister and was greatly disturbed over her death.
She is voiced by Sora Amamiya in Japanese, and by Laura Post in English.

- She helped the protagonist escape from Sae Niijima's palace while a group of shadows had him surrounded.
- She saved a little boy's balloon from floating away.
- She helped the Phantom Thieves of Hearts stop Takuto Maruki, who trapped reality in his 'ideal' world, and returned reality back to its original state.
- Overall, she has no corrupting qualities.
Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]
- Due to being the last party member in the game and only helping them clear one palace, she fails the admirable standards hard and doesn't do anything to stand out from her team.
