The Grinch serves as the titular anti-heroic protagonist of the YTP: How the Grinch Grinches His Grincy Grinch.
He was portrayed by the late Boris Karloff who voiced his original 1966 counterpart in which this version takes it material from.
Biography[]
At the beginning of the video, the Grinch was shown to be a villain due to him being a Nazi and trying to incite World War III, psychologically torturing his dog, Max to assist in his schemes. He also had tried to bomb Norway and Illumination for "ruining his reputation" in the 2018 Grinch movie. Later on, the Grinch comes up with an idea into breaking into the Who's house and stealing their Christmas presents in which in one of the houses throws Sam I Am out the chimney. Later on, when he is trying to get back to his home, the sleigh in which he had the presents on, Max starts to fall and falls off the cliff, the Grinch then looks at Max, before jumping down the cliff to save Max, he later then returns the presents that he had stolen back to the Whos.
Personality[]
At the beginning of the video, he is shown to be very villainous and chaotic with him being revealed as a Nazi and trying to nuke Norway for the 2018 Illumination Grinch movie. He is presented as a villainous character for a large portion of the video.
However, at the end of the video, Max falls off the cliff, and the Grinch goes and jumps off the cliff to rescue Max, showing that he does have some care for Max even though he was abusive to him in the video.
Appearance[]
He appears the same as he does in the iconic 1966 TV special. He is also portrayed by the same voice actor (via archive recordings). He is a tall green monster with a dark yellowish black collar and has green tufts of hair, when he is disguised as Santa he appears the same as the iconic character and wears a red suit and a white ring of cotton around his neck.
Although briefly there is a moment in the video where the 2000 live-action Grinch movie.
