Meta Knight is a supporting character in the web series There Will Be Brawl. He served as a Royal Knight of Dreamland towards King DedeDe, Until their home world was put at an end y the former hero known as Kirby, He seeks to bring down his opponent at any cost, leading to becoming a task Force guard after defeating him along with the Mario Brothers for six years prior to the series.

He was voiced by Matthew Mercer who also voices Kirby, along with Ganondorf in the series.

Personality[]

Meta Knight acts as being calm, focused, determined and Honorable showing this degree in his pursuit over Kirby, as he allows Kirby to delivered to Meadows Asylum to face Justice, all while volunteering himself to keep his knowledge on the Cannibal aware for the other heroes to face the chambers, even stopping Luigi from succumbing to the mind tricks showing how logical and highly intelligent he is. He also speaks in a clear, mysterious and echo voice.

Meta Knight was a noble Knight who served in Dreamland, before it’s ruins, He served under King Dedede's castle prior to the series, until Kirby Arrived and slaughtered it’s inhabitants, making it unable to undo his atrocities due to teaming up with Mewtwo, Meta Knight soon left the Kingdom and hunt down his enemy, leaving King Dedede to convert his palace into a Sweatshop. At some point he managed to get in touch with the Mario Brothers and managed to help them overpower the Cannibal (due to his keen knowledge and long history) and putting him away to the meadow Asylum for Six years, Meta Knight uses this opportunity to work along the Task force to keep guard under Kirby if anything of a breach were to happen.

There Will Be Brawl[]

Meta Knight appears in the second episode, escorting Princess Peach into the Meadows Asylum to confront Kirby over the recent murders committed by the mysterious Butchers, He then leaves her and gives her precise warning to never tell Kirby anything personal, due to knowing Kirby would use the information of his victims to get in the head of people, He then leaves Peach to make sure nothing gruesome ever happens as he watches from afar from the darkness. Meta Knight appears in a cameo in the fourth episode during the Crime scene, he was stationed outside the building and lets Luigi pass to see the investigation. Meta Knight in the duration through the fifth and sixth being dormant as his personal obsession to watch over Kirby, He would later appear in the Seventh episode Where Link tasked Meta Knight to bring him over to the Cannibal over the Incident relating to King DeDeDe’s death, Meta Knight observes the conversation and halts Luigi from accidentally falling into Kirby’s advantage of getting inside of People, sooner later the Breach alarm happens and Kirby within a glimps of darkness, manages to be free from his captivity for so long, leaving behind his mussel as he prepares to attack Luigi, but was intervened by Meta Knight who tells Luigi to escape as he prepares his final duel towards his Nemesis. The Aftermath fo the fight was mistaken to be Kirby’s death when Wario and Link mention that both Meta Knight and Kirby fought to the death and that Kirby's body was burned and covered in black. However it was revealed in the ninth and final episode that Kirby manages to kill Meta Knight (implying by using the fire flower Mario dropped during the breakout) and took his armour to disguise himself as he followed Luigi up upon the Tower, mimicking Meta Knight’s voice as he stabs the Don in the chest while removing his disguise and decapitating him, confirming his death.
