Lathna is a minor protagonist in Dragalia Lost. She is the vessel of White Nyarlathotep making her the main antagonist of the "Accursed Archives" event. However, when White Nyarlathotep is not in control, Lathna is a friendly albeit frightened child who doesn't want to hurt anybody. She is the tritagonist of the "Stirring Shadows" story event and the main protagonist of "Drifting Sorrows".
She is voiced by Maria Naganawa in Japanese and Bethany Brown in English.

Lathna has long bright blonde hair with blue eyes. she wears a black dress with a white skirt.
For the summer festival, Lathna dons a black and purple yukata. Her hair is styled in pigtails with black ribbons

A curious girl whose face often wears a somber expression. She lost her family during a strange incident at a library, and has been alone ever since. Plagued with nightmares, she lives in fear of something inside—the her that is not her.

Story[]
Accursed Archives[]
Lathna is found by Curran and Heinwald as being the sole survivor of a village that mysteriously disappeared. However, she is unable to speak due to the trauma, so the duo bring her with them to the halidom for assistance. With the party, Curran, Heinwald and Lathna go to a mysterious library where they find a dragon named Nyarlathotep. At first they believe him to be the one responsible for the village's disappearance.
However, they soon find out that there is another Nyarlathotep, and that Nyarlathotep is Lathna. Upon being discovered White Nyarlathotep reveals herself to the party, prompting them to fight. Upon defeat, the entire village is brought back, and Lathna regains her humanity and ability to speak. However, she is still an extension of White Nyarlathotep, so Curran takes her in to keep her safe.
Stirring Shadows[]
Sometime later, Curran and Heinwald find a village with a group worshiping a dragon known as Hastur. With Lathna by their side, they go to investigate. There, they meet a woman named Akasha who is a priest of the Church-of-all. As Curran and Heinwald investigate Hastur, Akasha abducts Lathna, well aware that she is White Nyarlathotep. Frightened, Lathna attempts to escape, but is held back by Akasha's magic who attempts to force her into reawakening as Nyarlathotep.
For a brief moment, White Nyarlathotep's personality sprouts from Lathna, but isn't happy over being controlled and attacks Akasha, prompting the priestess to retreat. When Curran and Heinwald find Lathna, she begins to see herself as a burden and asks them to leave her behind. However, Curran refuses to let Lathna live all alone and sad, and he lets her know not to give up. With Curran and Heinwald showing how much they care for her, Lathna smiles for the first time in a long time.
Lathna Adventurer Story[]
While wandering around a village, Lathna finds a cat who isn't scared of her. Growing to love the cat, Lathna adopts him and names him Ulthar. However, Lathna finds Ulthar to be dead the next morning, and she believes that she became White Nyarlathotep and killed him. Following that, other villagers start dying, and the blame is pinned on her. Curran, who is in the area, hears the issue and finds Lathna to ensure her that he won't let anything bad happen to her. Eventually, Lathna runs away in an effort to protect the village.
Upon reaching a lake, she runs into the village's chief where she finds out he was actually the one responsible for the murders and had the blame pinned on Lathna all to please Nyarlathotep. As he reveals this along with the fact that he slaughtered everybody who lived in his village, White Nyarlathotep reawakens and expresses her disgust over his needless slaughter.
When Lathna wakes up, she finds out that Curran managed to expose the chief as the murderer and clear her name. After which, he brought her to the Halidom for safety. Upon hearing this, Curran and Lathna notice Ulthar walk into the room. Lathna, happy to see Ulthar alive, cuddles with him. Curran attempts to get close only to witness a face from the cat that horrifies him into going to take a nap.
