Trivia[]
- In the comics, Julia Carpenter (nee Cornwall) gained powers after she was injected with a mix of spider venom and exotic plant extracts created by the secretive government organization, the Commission. She also became the second Madame Web after Cassandra Webb's death. She also married and later divorced Larry Carpenter and gave birth to their daughter, Rachel.
- In Madame Web, other than in Ezekial Sims' nightmare and Cassandra's premonition, Julia never acquires superpowers, nor dons any Spider mantle, being a regular human throughout the movie.
