John Felix Anthony Cena Jr., better known simply as John Cena, is an American actor, rap singer, and professional wrestler employed by WWE, currently performing as a part-time free agent.
Appearance[]
Cena gets manly muscle. He has short brown hair covered up by orange cap and t shirt and wears blue armbands, shorts and shoes. In alternate costume, he wears a denim sleeveless tuxedo jacks and pants and white shirt then a red tie, belt and shoes.
Biography[]
He made his official WWE debut on June 27, 2002 after accepting an open challenge from Kurt Angle. After impressing Stephanie McMahon with his freestyle rapping on the WWE tour bus, she convinced the higher-ups to give him a push. Batista was the one tapped to be the new Hogan, but Cena got over with his rap gimmick which was essentially a last-ditch ploy before they released him: "The Doctor of Thuganomics." He would go on to beat John "Bradshaw" Layfield at WrestleMania 21, where he would win his first WWE Championship and first world title overall. In June 2005, Cena's tenure on SmackDown came to an end when he was selected as the very first draft pick of the 2005 WWE Draft Lottery by Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff, and he made his debut on Raw on June 6. After being drafted, he began to seek revenge against the evil General Manager for screwing the wrestlers, these included Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels, Kane, Rob Van Dam, the Dudley Boyz, Lita, Trish Stratus, Shane McMahon, and Stephanie McMahon, the latter of whom was the General Manager of SmackDown at the time. In 2006, he was promoted to an All-American Face with the release of The Marine.
