Jo is a non-binary superb bird-of-paradise that makes their debut in Angry Birds' social media accounts. They were teased on June 3, 2023 and got fully revealed on June 5.
Personality[]
Jo loves dancing and using their skills to make the world a better place. However, they can be a little shy.
Appearance[]
Classic[]
Jo is a tall black bird with teal markings, black eyes, and a black, teal and white head feather.
Movie[]
Jo's movie appearance is the same as their classic design's, except that their eyes are teal instead of black and they have long legs with two front toes and they have rounded wings that resemble yin and yang.

Angry Birds: Jo's Stage Flight'[]
One day as Jo was hanging out with their friends, Melody and Silver, and Jo tells them that they are bored because they don't know how to shake their tailfeathers nor be center of attention. Then Melody and Silver suggested going to Paradise, as they thought it would help Jo. However, when three Minion Pigs known as Twisted Tails took over the club, Jo finally cut loose and started dancing around the dance floor as it hypnotized Twisted Tails, Jo got the confidence to be center of attention and defeat Twisted Tails.

Angry Birds 2[]
Jo was included in Angry Birds 2 as Golden Duck Spell reskin called "Jo's Looove Spell Event" as a celebration to Pride Month.
Trivia[]
- They are the first bird to have a known relative in the games.
- They are revealed to be 19 years old making them the first bird with known age in the main media.
- Unlike Melody, Jo was revealed without any indication of which piece of Angry Birds media they will debut in.
- Jo's classic design is based on Angry Birds Toons' stock art rather than being based on the classic (pre-Chrome and Chrome) style.
- Jo's movie design makes them the third bird (outside of the Hatchlings) to have two front toes. The other two being Judge Peckinpah and Matilda.
