Season 12[]
Episode 1[]
- Main article: Episode 1201 - 20 Chefs Compete
The twenty new chefs rode on a bus on route to Hell's Kitchen and during this time they had the opportunity to get to know each other. Upon arrival, they were greeted by Jean-Philippe who walked the chefs into Hell’s Kitchen only to walk into a service already going on with the food receiving positive comments and Ramsay expressing that the chefs in the kitchen were doing a splendid job. That confused the chefs, and once the service ended, Ramsay approached them and welcomed them. Ramsay explained that he did a soft opening to showcase the chefs what his expectations were, and asked if they could perform a service like the one they saw. Everybody promised they would, and Ramsay revealed that the winner would become a Head Chef at one of his restaurants, but first, they had to survive Hell’s Kitchen in Los Angeles, a place he deemed the capital of entertainment. Shortly after, patrons of the restaurant began putting on a performance. Afterwards, Ramsay announced it was time for the Signature Dish Challenge.
During the Signature Dish Challenge, Sandra was ready to kick some blue team ass, and after Ramsay revealed the salary, she wanted the quarter million dollars. She was the seventh person from the red team to have her dish judged by Ramsay, and went up against Gaurav. She made a pan-seared cod dish, but it was criticized as Ramsay felt that if he ate more, he would be backed up like a Los Angeles freeway. So, neither she nor Gaurav scored that round, but the red team eventually won the challenge 5-4. They were rewarded with dinner at one of Ramsay’s Los Angeles restaurants.
During prep, Nicole and Sandra had a debate over what to do with their butter, though she admitted how the former scared her due to being quiet and showing some weakness, leading Nicole to warn her how the quiet ones are the first to explode. During dinner service, she was on the appetizer station with Simone. After Joy sent up overcooked scallops, she got frustrated as she had to refire her risotto. Then, she did not communicate with Joy on timings for the scallops as she claimed she would tell her when she was ready as scallops do not take long to sear. The poor communication led to Joy deciding to sear the scallops without her permission, and with two minutes of cooking compared to her five minutes, Ramsay accused Joy of giving up. Joy claimed she had not, but was unable to recite Ramsay’s order back to him making her have a crying fit, but she was not sympathetic. Later, she still refused to communicate with Joy as the latter wanted to walk her scallops, but she indignantly asked if Joy was going to cry again. Joy told her she only wanted to communicate, but that led to an argument as an embarrassed Jessica compared it to hens in a hen house squawking at each other. Seeing that, Ramsay told her and Joy to put their differences aside and communicate with each other. Eventually, she finally communicated with fish, but when she said ten seconds, Nicole was not happy as the lobster tail was not ready yet. Despite that, she walked the risotto to the pass, and when Nicole told Joy to drop the lobster tail, a pissed Ramsay pulled the three women to the front and asked how long it would take to cook a tail. Joy claimed she could get it ready in 45 seconds, so Ramsay decided to test that challenge as she smugly wished the former luck. After Joy sent up a raw lobster tail, she was one of the three women, along with the former and Nicole, that were kicked out of the kitchen. As the trio went back upstairs to the dorms, she was pissed as Joy and Nicole ruined her perfect risotto, and accused the two of throwing her under the bus. However, that led to an argument between her and Nicole that Joy tried to break up. Eventually, the rest of the red team joined them after being kicked out.
Both teams were named joint losers, and they were asked to nominate two each. During deliberation, Joy blamed Sandra for the communication breakdown as they had no idea when to fire scallops, but she pointed out that there were two people on fish and neither of them communicated. While Joy felt she was not taking responsibility for anything, she told the former to take responsibility for her mistakes that night.
Sandra was named the red team's first nominee for elimination, with Nicole as the second, and they joined Gaurav and DeMarco from the blue team. During her plea, she felt she followed direction that night despite having to babysit the fish station. She survived elimination, and while being dismissed, she said she came to fight.[1]
Episode 2[]
- Main article: Episode 1202 - 19 Chefs Compete
Back at the dorms, Sandra was not happy her team did not have her back, even feeling that they would be happy if she went home that night. When she had an outburst in front of her teammates, Joy asked if she was always on her menstrual before gladly volunteering to take her bags out herself as she wanted her gone.
The next day, at 4:33 AM, the chefs awoke to the sounds of dirt bikes revving in the dorms, and Sous Chef Andi told the chefs to meet Ramsay outside. During the Basics Relay Challenge, Sandra got dismayed when Kashia was caught trying to devein her shrimp instead of peeling them first. She was paired up with Nicole, they were the fourth pair from the red team to compete, and their task was to filet four trouts. They were seen bringing up their first attempt, and it was accepted. The red team lost the challenge 4-5, and they were punished by picking carrots at a local carrot farm, prep them for the following night’s service, and make both kitchen’s stock in addition.
During dinner service, Sandra served a raw oyster appetizer tableside. She was not seen much, except for apologizing to her table about the slow appetizers from her team. Eventually, the red team were kicked out after multiple mistakes. Both teams were named joint losers, and they were asked to nominate two each. During deliberation, she asked who messed up the most.
She was not nominated for elimination.[2]
Episode 3[]
- Main article: Episode 1203 - 18 Chefs Compete
The next day, at 5:45 AM, the chefs were woken to the sound of pigs squealing and a farmer yelling very loud. The Sous Chefs ordered them to grab a pig on their way downstairs, but Sandra was scared at the thought of prepping one of them despite tasting delicious. During the Potato Challenge, Sandra was seen during part 1, struggling to to dig a hole. The red team lost 90-100. During part 2, Simone felt her dish was amazing, but none of the women agreed with her as she deemed the dish horrible. She was chosen as part of the top five, was the second chef from the red team to have her dish judged by Ramsay, and went up against Ralph. She made a pancetta sofrito, but while it was criticized for looking like a mess, it was praised for tasting delicious, and she scored 3 points. The red team won the challenge 18-16, and they were rewarded with a day onboard an 80-foot sailboat in the Southern California coastline.
During prep, Rochelle left the kitchen for a while to throw up in the bathroom, and Sandra wondered if the former had bronchitis. When Simone left and complained about feeling ill, she knew that Rochelle was sick while the former was giving up. When Simone returned, she gave the former a halfhearted applause, and feared what would happen as Simone was giving her the crazy eyes.
During dinner service, Sandra was on the meat station with Beth. Despite serving a perfect Wellington, the red team were kicked out after multiple mistakes, and she frustratingly yelled that it sucked. Both teams were named joint losers, and they were asked to nominate three each. During deliberation, she knew that the ones who were fighting would stay before naming Simone as her nomination, which the rest of the women agree with. When her name was brought up, at least six of them agreed on that, but she did not understand why she was considered a nominee considering they had Bev the idiot, Rochelle the sick, and Simone the one who was sick in the head, while she herself was on point that night. However, Joy told her that it was based on her attitude, but she got pissed and walked out, with Bev accusing her of not listening.
Sandra was named the red team's third nominee for elimination, with Simone as the first, and Rochelle as the second. She survived elimination as Ramsay did not call her down. While being dismissed, she was offended the women put her up and was going to focus on herself.[3]
Episode 4[]
- Main article: Episode 1204 - 17 Chefs Compete
Before the Lobster Ravioli Challenge, Ramsay had pennies ran down from the ceiling to show how much money the chefs wasted the previous service, and Sandra said that if it was not a wake-up call for wasting money, nothing else was. She was paired up with Kashia, and they were first seen getting the pasta rolled up even though Ramsay warned them not to waste their time rolling the pasta. They were seen only getting one attempt accepted, but the red team won the challenge 10-9. They were rewarded with a day at a Beverly Hills mansion which included their very own butler. During the reward, she said she never had the privilege to do high tea.
During the Steak Night dinner service, Sandra was on the garnish station. When the women continued to push out entrées, she said she felt a rhythm going on as everything was going as it should be. After Kashia got her chicken accepted, Ramsay said it was cooked perfectly, and she said there was nothing sweeter to hear than that, before proclaiming they would complete service. Eventually, the red team got their orders completed, and Ramsay had them go into the blue kitchen to help the men. She told Jason that his salmon needed three more minutes, but the latter argued not to cut the salmon open as it would lose its valuable taste. Jason continued to argue with her, even calling her a vulgar term, until Ramsay took them both up to the pass as Joy could not believe Jason was arguing with her on his station. While Jason apologized for his behavior, Ramsay reminded him that he told her to get on his station and while the former may not like it, it was his choice. After, Ramsay told her and Jason to go back to his station, and she claimed she was not intimidated when Jason was yelling at her. The red team won the service.[4]
Episode 5[]
- Main article: Episode 1205 - 16 Chefs Compete
During the Creative Memory Challenge, Sandra was paired up with Beth, and they were seen pairing up shitake mushrooms. They cooked the ahi tuna, they were the third pair from the red team to have their dish judged by Ramsay, and went up against Jason and Gabriel. She presented their Asian inspired tuna dish, it was praised for the crispy noodle component, and they scored that round. The red team won the challenge 3-2, and they were rewarded with a day at Laguna Beach which included kayaking on the water, and lunch at the 5-star Studio at the Montage.
Before the Wedding brunch service, Sandra deemed that service announcement and threat of elimination a a double slap to the face. She was on the lobster scrambled egg station with Jessica, she was not seen that day, and the red team won the service.[5]
Episode 6[]
- Main article: Episode 1206 - 15 Chefs Compete
The next day, Ramsay asked both teams to name a leader for the following service. The red team picked Melanie as their leader. During prep, she had no faith with Anton acting as a floater, but when Joy kept criticizing Beth, she told the latter to shut her mouth as it was not helping. When Beth angrily ranted in the back hallway, she told her that she could her yelling from the kitchen, and suggested she let it go. When Ramsay announced that Elizabeth Perkins would be dining in the red kitchen, she got excited.
During dinner service, Sandra was on the appetizer station with Joy. She gave out an unsure answer for six minutes, which made Melanie nervous as she could only control her arms and voice. Then, Joy told her to put another pan for the capellini down, but she did not understand the former properly and told Joy not to scream at her face. However, Joy accused her of refusing to listen to anybody, and felt she stared at her like a statue instead of talking to her. However, appetizers were finally leaving the red kitchen. On their next order, she did not have the capellini on as she did not know they had it on order. As Ramsay accused her of not caring, Joy grew frustrated trying to carry so many things. After Melanie sent up a raw halibut, she felt the former was in over her head.
The red team lost the service, and they were asked to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, Sandra said she did see Melanie step up as a leader, but only saw her mess up on fish. Then, she nominated both Beth and Melanie for elimination, but the latter nominated her for elimination. She tried to argue that she did nothing wrong in the past that warranted her nomination, but Melanie reminded her about the missing capellini and poor communication.
Sandra was named the red team's second nominee for elimination, with Beth as the first. During her plea, Ramsay felt that the women have given up on her, but she felt she was consistent and gave it her all in the challenges, before being confused as to why they did not like her as she backed up her team and concluding that none of them wanted her to win. However, Joy disagreed with that, feeling she was quiet that night, and Kashia felt she was not a team player. While she received votes from all but Jessica, she survived elimination. While being dismissed, she said that even though her team kept scum bagging her, she told them to fuck off.[6]
Episode 7[]
- Main article: Episode 1207 - 14 Chefs Compete
Back at the dorms, Sandra asked the women to let her know if she was not acting like a team player. However, Kashia and Joy told her they tried to tell her multiple times before, but she acted like it was her own business. Despite that, she felt she was a better chef than her teammates and refused to roll over, while Kashia and Joy wanted her the next out.
During the Gourmet Pizza Challenge, Sandra was paired up with Melanie, but was not sure of the latter's idea for their pizza. However, she decided to keep her mouth shut due to her teammate’s comments, and hoped it would fucking work. When deciding on what pizza to drop, she and Melanie saw that Kashia and Bev’s pizza was burnt. When Wolfgang Puck was revealed as a guest judge, she asked for the defibrillator. She and Melanie were the third pair from the red team to have their dish judged, and went up against Anton and Richard. They made a parmesan crispy prosciutto flatbread pizza with arugula, but while Puck liked the taste of the prosciutto, he noticed that the bottom was lightly colored, and the dough was nearly stretching on him, giving them a score of 3. The red team lost the challenge 12-15, and they were punished by prepping ravioli by hand, grating cheese, and prep both kitchens for Italian Family Night.
During the Italian Family Night dinner service, Sandra was on the garnish station. At one point, she and Bev worked together on the pizzas, but the latter sent up a raw attempt due to an overly thick dough, with her arguing she was just doing her job and it was up to Bev to finish it. However, Bev told her to take responsibility for her actions. When the red team received Ramsay's family's order, she she got dismay as she did not want to hear Ramsay scream at them for wrecking his family’s tickets. Fortunately, the order was accepted. The red team won the service.[7]

The red team won the challenge 2-1, and they were rewarded with a trip to Las Vegas which included staying at Caesars Palace, a $500 shopping spree at the shops in the hotel, meeting Season 10 Christina, and dinner cooked by Ramsay's mentor Guy Savoy. During the reward, she was willing to take what Ramsay gave them.

The red team lost the service, and they were asked to nominate two people for elimination. She was not nominated for elimination.[8]
Episode 9[]
- Main article: Episode 1209 - 12 Chefs Compete
During the Dome Challenge, Sandra grabbed duck breast, egg noodle, endives, and chorizo for her dish. While she aggressively grabbed potatoes, it was soon revealed that Kashia grabbed potatoes as well. As only one of them could use that, she was forced to grab egg noodles. Then, both she and Jessica revealed that they have endives for their vegetables, but as the two argued over who would keep it, an impatient Ramsay waited for somebody to drop it. Eventually, Jessica decided to go with beets instead and said fuck you towards her, but she did not respond. She was the final person to have her dish judged, and went up against Scott. She made a seared duck breast with spicy styled sausage and egg noodles and while it looked overdone, it tasted very tender. She won that round over Scott, the red team won the challenge 4-3, and she was very ecstatic that her dish was loved.
The red team was rewarded with a trip to the Terranea resort with lunch by the cliffside, and a private beach volleyball lesson with three-time Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings. During the reward, Sandra called it yet another fabulous win for the women as the men were not as good as them. Later that day, the women met with Jennings, with her revealing to be a fan of hers.
Later that day, Ramsay revealed that he would be performing individual evaluation reports. Sandra was called up as the first chef to have her evaluation, and she felt she was going to shit bricks as Ramsay was like a dog who sniffed out fear, and worried about it being a firing situation. Once there, Ramsay asked her how she felt her she was doing in the competition, and she admitted that she could do better as she let simple mistakes get the better of her. While Ramsay reminded her that her duck dish that day was amazing, he sometimes struggles with her down moments to the point of giving up and not caring. However, she said she really cared, and Ramsay told her to fight back more. Since she was not deemed the weakest chef by the red team, she did not compete in the Cook For Your Life Challenge. During the challenge, she was in agony as she wanted to help Jessica.[9]
Episode 10[]

Before Jessica left, she tearfully begged Ramsay to keep her around, with even Sandra getting touched.
The next day, the chefs were taken to Ramsay's gastropub to show them around the restaurant, and give them a look at the menu for that night's Gastropub Night. Sandra deemed Ramsay sneaky for that.
During the Gastropub Night dinner service, Sandra was on the appetizer station. At one point, she got annoyed when Kashia served cold garnishes, but when the women's service went without anymore problems, she could only hear “walking” that night. When the women completed their final ticket, she was happy about whipping the men’s ass hard. Ramsay left her on desserts while the rest of her teammates went to help the struggling blue team. The red team won the service.[10]
Episode 11[]
- Main article: Episode 1211 - 10 Chefs Compete
During the Creative Pork Challenge, Sandra was not seen during part one, and the red team lost the first challenge. She went up against Jason, and they cooked with pork belly. At one point, she called Anton a kiss ass when he explained how he tried to replicate Ramsay’s wine sauce. She was the fourth person from the red team to have her dish judged by Ramsay, and made an Asian styled pork belly. It was criticized for being undercooked, and she lost that round to Jason. The red team lost the challenge 2-3, and they were punished by prepping peanuts for peanut butter, and prep both kitchens for that night’s service. During the punishment, she sarcastically said good times after Sous Chef Andi told them how one bag would equal a single jar.
During dinner service, Sandra was on the fish station. Her lobster tail fell apart on her when she picked it up, much to Ramsay’s dismay. Joy was annoyed as they went through lobster tails multiple times, and Ramsay ordered a complete refire to Rochelle’s annoyance. Then, she refused to let Joy butt in on her station, leading to an argument as the latter let her do it by herself. Later, she was about to walk her salmon, but nether Melanie nor Joy had anything ready as she did not communicate with them. Melanie called her a shit ass teammate, but she decided to walk up her salmon despite Melanie asking for more time on the Wellingtons. When the two argued, Ramsay asked where the coordination went as Joy accused her of doing it her way instead of being a team player, before wanting to put her up if they lost. She sent up her refire, but it came out overcooked on the bottom as Ramsay compared the look to puke, and got dismayed when she asked if she could refire it. Melanie asked what she was doing, but she was upset as she wanted her night to be flawless.
Both teams were named joint losers, and they were asked to nominate two each. During deliberation, Kashia nominated Sandra as their first for continuing to have communication problems, and everybody agreed with her as Joy wondered if they can nominate her two times. She admitted how rough her night was, before nominating Kashia as the second. When the red team wanted to put up Rochelle for elimination, she argued that the latter had no mistakes that night.
Sandra was the red team's first nominee for elimination, with Rochelle as the second, and they joined Anton and Scott from the blue team. During her plea, Ramsay felt the women deemed her coordination skills to be nonexistent, but she knew that she pushed hard and improved. When Ramsay asked her if she had any fight left, she said she did and wanted to prove it. She survived elimination as Ramsay decided to reassign her to the blue team alongside Rochelle, being exchanged for Anton and Scott. While being dismissed, she said the cattiness in the red kitchen was childish and stupid, before sarcastically wishing Anton and Scott luck.[11]
Episode 12[]
- Main article: Episode 1212 - 10 Chefs Again
During the King of the Hill Challenge, Sandra called the dark room creepy, grabbed tuna, and explained how difficult the house was due to the lack of power. She was the third chef to have her dish judged by Ramsay, and made a nutty tuna tagliatelle. Ramsay found the pasta component to work alongside the tuna, and she dethroned Scott. However, she was soon dethroned by Anton, although she she said her dish was more complex than his. The blue team eventually won the challenge, they were rewarded with a day at Le Spa at Sofitel in Beverly Hills, and she knew that they won because of having two former red chefs like herself and Rochelle. During the reward, Gabriel found her relaxed moans to be funny.
During the Charity Night dinner service, Sandra believed that Gabriel peaked if he could not count after it was discovered he fired two tuna instead of twelve. She was in charge of the rack of lamb course, but she and Jason argued over how she was breading the lamb as it had to be 90% cooked to bread them. While she argued that she was not crusting them immediately, Richard called it ridiculous. Then, they argued about how to slice the lamb as Jason was trying to help her out, and told her to go fuck herself if she did not want it. Then, Ramsay revealed that the lamb was cold, pissing Jason off, and she ordered the blue team to flash them despite Ramsay warning her that it could led to them going overcooked. As she got the lamb out, Ramsay’s fears came true as they were all overcooked, and not only were they missing three lamb portions, the blue team had no more lamb to cook. She was frozen over what to do, but made a poor suggestion by saying they could cut the tops off for more portions. Ramsay did not like that, and Jason said that he hated her as the blue team was forced to plate only one slice for their twelve top. She was so ashamed about her poor performance on the lamb that she could not even look at Ramsay.
Both teams were named joint losers, and they were asked to nominate two each. During deliberation, Sandra was immediately deemed a nominee by everybody, and while knew she would get dominated at elimination, she also knew the only thing she could do was own up to her mistakes, before nominating herself and trying to pick between Gabriel and Richard.
Sandra was the blue team's first nominee, with Gabriel as the second, and they joined Kashia and Scott from the red team. During her plea, she admitted that she screwed up that night, but added on that she thrived in challenges and that she always fought back every time. While Ramsay felt that she lost her passion, she claimed she was disappointed in herself because she could do better. She was eliminated for her disastrous leadership on the lamb course, but before leaving, she thanked Ramsay for everything as it made her a stronger person. During her exit interview, she felt her chance slipped away and that it was not her night, before saying she had no regrets.
Ramsay's comment: "It may have been Charity Night in Hell's Kitchen, but when it comes to Sandra, I wasn't in a charitable mood." [12]
Episode 20[]
- Main article: Episode 1220 - Winner Chosen
Sandra was one of the ten chefs that returned for the final dinner service. She was Jason's final pick, after Anton, Melanie, Gabriel, and Bev, and was the final pick overall. Jason was not happy to have her as she was terrible, and recalled the arguments he had with her in the past. Back at the dorms, she called Jason sporadic when the latter was loud and boisterous when discussing the menu.
During prep, Jason noticed that Sandra was missing, but nobody had an idea where she was, making Gabriel deem her the weakest link as she was lazy and knew she would not give it a 100% that night. She was in the bathroom before coming back, but Jason warned her to wake up, before warning everybody that he can kick them out he if so pleased despite being reluctant about the idea. However, she did not care about that night, as would rather smoke and drink on the patio. While everybody else promised Ramsay they would give the finalists their full support, she did not.
During dinner service, Sandra was on the garnish station. She gave Jason a halfhearted call out, but he would not tolerate her shit as he already warned her about a kick out. However, Gabriel felt she was moving like molasses, and slow as snail shit. However, she felt that Jason’s behavior was rude, but managed to walk up perfect crab cakes. On the VIP order, Jason hoped she would not let him down, but Ramsay saw that she cooked the crab cakes ten minutes ago, had them out for that long, and was planning to serve them instead of a fresh batch. That caused Ramsay to accuse her of trying to sabotage Jason, which the latter felt so, but when he called her a dumbass, she snapped at him. Jason asked her if she wanted to leave, but while she could care less as she was intimidated by people bigger than the former, she began working on the refire. Later, she sent up underseasoned garnishes, and Melanie told her to get her shit together as if it was her running the red kitchen, she would have kicked the former out, before wondering why Jason was not doing that. Feeling that she was going too slow, Jason asked her what was going on, but she did not answer, leading Ramsay to call her a brick wall. Jason eventually lost the finals to Scott.[13]
