The Borealis Workers were members of the Borealis crew that were cut from Half-Life 2. They are the successor to the Workers. They were to appear in the Borealis levels only.

Overview[]

The Borealis worker was a prototype model of a worker variant as his main purpose was to work on the Borealis. They were to be attacked by Combine Soldiers, Stalkers, Frozen Zombies, and Zombies. All of the crew members including their captain Johanson were all killed except when Odell and Gordon arrive on a tugboat. All that is left are corpses as well as Combine Assassins in stasis with certain combine troops and Zombies.

Their model is just a reskin of the Workers just being white and navy blue. Most of the corpses can still be found on the old Borealis maps but theirs eyes are white.

Like the Workers over at project beta the Mega Patch v.4.1 added newer models on July 8, 2018.
