AWARDS: Our 2024 Winners

The Dryden Theatre stage displaying a slide of Best Film winner CHALLENGERS during our in-person awards announcement on January 4, 2025.

The ballots have been counted for the Greater Western New York Film Critics Association’s seventh annual end-of-year Film Awards. We’ve chosen the below films as our collective favorites after engaging in a weighted scale voting process for Best Picture and fifteen other major categories. Potential titles/artists were restricted to those films released first-run theatrically/streaming in the United States during the 2024 calendar year.

Leading the way are CHALLENGER (4 wins, including Best Picture) and SING SING (3 wins).
