Background[]
Rodrik was a member of House Velaryon. He was elected Lord Commander of the Night's Watch after the death of Lord Commander Stone. At Maester Gavin's counsel, he appointed Dagon Harlaw as First Ranger. He held the Wall for one year before succumbing to a chill in the night, and was succeeded by Ser Jasper Bracken.[1]
