Uwaji was the shogunate capital of Wa, where the shogun lived and met. It was one of the largest and most important cities of Kara-Tur. It was on the island of Tsukishima, bordered on the west by the Ikuyu Mountains. The busy Tawata Road linked Uwaji with Rukimbaru.[2]
