Thaerma was recommended by Huldyl Rauthur when he believed there may be lingering effects from magic attack, strongly implying she was either a healer or some sort of expert in lingering curses.[1]

Per Pheldemar, the two of them had history, and he gave the implication of a grudge, or bad blood, between them.[1]
History[]
Huldyl Rauthur commanded Pheldemar to seek Thaerma at court to determine whether the invaders had left any lingering effects on him before resting in the aftermath of the attack on Vangerdahast's sanctum at Mouth o'Gargoyles in 1373 DR.[1]
