The nafir (pronounced: /nɑːˈfɪər/ nah-FEER) was a Zakharan wind instrument similar to a trumpet.[1]
Description[]
Nafirs resembled long, thin trumpets and were made from metal.[1]
History[]
Though less common in south Zakhara, the nafir was used widely in both Qudra and the Free Cities as a signalling device and to send military orders into the field.[1]
