Gideon had recently grown in influence, especially with some of Mulmaster's wealthiest and most beautiful women. He was deeply concerned that something could end all. His rapid career had created a few enemies in the Soldiery.[1]

History[]
In 1491 DR, he was promoted to captain with orders to maintain safe trading routes, in order to increasing the city's reputation and trade. He did a good job, even considering wealthy visitors' needs above of those of Mulmaster's citizens. However, there was an increase in bandit activities and he hired an adventuring party to clear the area.[1]
