Garthwas a 14th century scholar and author that hailed from the city of Suzail in Cormyr.[1]

Garth's most well-known work was An Ecology of the Planes. In the book, the 'diffusion theory' was discussed as the leading explanation for why near-identical species of creatures appeared across the uncountable planes of existence.[1]
