- The Broken Lance, a cozy tavern in Waterdeep's Sea Ward, had eel pies as its house specialty.[1]
- In Cormyr, this dish was quite common and popular in the city of Marsember.[5] In Suzail, cheese-and-eel pies were the specialty of The Eel Revealed eatery on the Promenade.[3]
- In Neverwinter, some impoverished folk were known to bake eel pie.[6] It was also sold in the city by the Shining Serpent Inn.[2]
- In the coastal areas of Turmish, eel pies were a staple of local cuisine, often served along with fishhead soup, chives, and asparagus.[4]
