Chris Avellone is a video game designer who has worked for the video game companies Interplay Entertainment and Obsidian Entertainment. He was one of the co-founders of the latter company. He also writes comic books.

Avellone received a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in fine arts from the College of William & Mary.
Projects[]
Forgotten Realms games on which he contributed include Descent to Undermountain, Planescape: Torment, all of the Icewind Dale games, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, and Neverwinter Nights 2.
