Appendix[]

Background[]

  • In the foreword for this module it's stated that the inclusion of the author's own player-character, DeVia Dirkdancer, was primarily done for the benefit of those attending the convention it debuted at, DarkCon '97 (or "DarkCon 4" as it's referred to in the text). Many had requested a chance to rescue the character, as she had previously been captured in a module run at DarkCon '96 that involved a covert military operation for the Ravens Bluff War.[1]
  • In a unique case for Living City modules, the author of Cat and Mouse illustrated a cover for it that he included when submitting the module to RPGA. The illustration was ultimately not included in the adventure proper, but was later posted online by the creator.[2]
