- Mameluks excluded from positions of power in Manshaka reclaim and settle the upper city of Calimport. Vizar Bollus el Kahdan, secretly an agent of the Twisted Rune, urges them to reclaim the rest of the city, which lies in ruins beyond the walls of the port.[1]
