1027 DR in politics
- Numambi Seltarir, the new rajah of Estagund after purchasing the cash-strapped throne last year, attempts to stimulate the economy. He establishes the Maquar, both an elite military force and a public works service. Numambi also renames the capital city to Chavyondat, after his eldest daughter.[1]
