The Dead Town/Script
At Elusia castle, the Four Hounds reconvene to discuss their report to Sombron as well as the spell put on Veyle. Mauvier urges Zephia to disperse the spell, but she presents them with the enchanted helmet Sombron gave her. After Griss relays news that Alear's army is sailing at Elusia, Marni volunteers to fend them off, with Zephia assigning Mauvier to her side. After the two leave, Zephia and Griss talk about Veyle's dragonstone.
Alear and company arrive at Givre Port in Elusia, which Ivy finds to be suspiciously empty. They then encounter the Corrupted, which makes Alear conclude that they have spread through the rest of the town. Ivy recommends the group leave the town, and although Alfred and Timerra object on the basis of protecting its people, she assures them that the entire town is dead and not worth wasting time on. As the group is about to leave, Marni and Mauvier confront them and demand them to hand over the Emblem Rings. Alear refuses and instead asks them about Veyle's status, which Marni also refuses to elaborate on. Marni then brings an army of Corrupted, and hands Mauvier and herself two Emblem Rings that she stole from Zephia. The two armies clash.
Marni and Mauvier are defeated and lose their rings. Alear asks Mauvier again to tell them about Veyle, and he finally exposits about the helmet, expressing worry over her safety. He and Marni then flee the premises. Afterwards, Alear reconvenes with Emblems Micaiah and Roy, the latter of whom revealing that the Corrupted are being created by Elusian citizens that Sombron has drained the life from. Alear resolves themself to enter Elusia Castle.
