The High Priest is a combat and support magical class that was introduced in the Jugdral Series.

History in the Series[]

In its original inception in Genealogy of the Holy War, the High Priest class replaces the Bishop class as the promoted form of the Priest class, armed with staves for support purposes and Anima magic for combat.

In Thracia 776, the High Priest class is again the promoted form of the Priest class, but wields Light magic instead of Anima Magic for combat purposes.

Following the end of the Jugdral era, the High Priest class was mostly absent from the series, returning in Fire Emblem Engage where it is one of the promotions for the Martial Monk. In Engage, the High Priest once again can attack with Magic and support with Staves, but can now also use Arts to attack physically.
